Description

It is one-part acetoxy silicone sealant. It is fast curing and permanently flexible, waterproof and outstanding weather resistant. It is suitable for sealing, repairing, glazing and mending of glass, aquarium, auto windscreen, glazing for window panels and other metal frameworks bonding.

Where to use

They are widely used in industry, building, automotive, packaging, and business, advertisement, and family decoration. They are mainly used in joints adhesion and seal among the glass, tiles, ceramics, aluminum, and fiber glass, powder-coated and non-oily wood.

Characteristic

1. One -part, acetoxy room temperature cure, easy to apply.

2. Excellent contact-change ability, no seasonal limited use.

3. Excellent adhesion to most building materials.         

4. Outstanding weatherproofing ability, with service life of tens of years.

5. Medium or low modulus, excellent tensile and compression restoring ability.

Application

1. Clean with solvents such as toluene or acetone to keep the substrate surfaces completely clean and dry.

2. For better appearance cover outside of joint areas with masking taps before application.

3. Cut nozzle to desired size and extrudes sealant to joint areas.

4. Tool immediately after sealant application and remove masking tape before sealant skins.

Limitations

1. Don't use to the joints, which is hidden in earth for long time.     

2. Don't use in areas where no moisture has.

3. Don't use in places where have permeated grease, plasticizer or solvent such as wood permeated oil, uncured or half-cured resins, etc.

4. The surfaces coated with paint are unsuitable for sealant.        

5. The products have poor adhesion to concrete, marble, mirror-glass, Zn-plated materials because of corrosion produced by acetoxy sealant. In this case, please select neutral silicone sealant.

1. Packing: 300ml. In a plastic cartridge, 24 cartridges/ carton

2. Colors: clear, black, silvery gray, white.

3. Stored in cool and dry place, the shelf life is 9 months.
